Solutions tailored to your needs
We help you choose a device that suits the packaging structure, expected performance and line organization. We analyze not only the machine itself, but also the feeding of cutouts, gluing, receipt of ready-made packaging and cooperation with subsequent stages of the process.
We verify packaging formats, material, expected efficiency and required forming and gluing method.
We support the preparation of configuration and implementation of the solution for stable production operation.
We assist in the operation of the device, process parameters and configuration development.

From a flat cut to the finished package
A folder-gluer can take over the repetitive stage of preparing trays and other packaging structures, reduce manual work and organize the pace of feeding the rest of the line. The condition for good implementation is to match the device to the actual pattern, material, glue and production organization.
Forming structures used, among others, in packaging food and industrial products.
Configurations taking into account planned changes in the assortment and the time needed for changeover.
Automation of a process in which stable geometry and regular delivery of ready-made packaging are important.
Cooperation with product feeding, internal transport and subsequent stages of packaging.
The machine is part of the process
The process begins with taking a flat blank, guiding it, folding it into the designed shape and connecting the selected surfaces. The method of carrying out these operations depends on the packaging design and device configuration. The finished packaging can then be filled manually or automatically.
Before choosing a machine, we analyze the cutout formats, the type and quality of cardboard, the places where glue is applied, the expected work pace and the method of receiving the formed packages. The number of variants produced on one line and the frequency of format changes are also important.
This approach allows you to assess whether the device will fit into the existing machinery, available space and work organization. The declared speed of the machine is not synonymous with the efficiency of the entire line - the result is also determined by material feeding, changeovers, quality control and further operations.
Integration instead of a separate island
The folder-gluer should transfer packages in a manner consistent with the rhythm of the next station. Therefore, at the concept stage, we determine the direction of power supply, working heights, buffering and reception methods, and the range of signals needed for the devices to work together.
Depending on the plant, the finished trays may be collected by the operator, transported by a conveyor or directed to the next line module. The scope of integration requires a separate technical analysis - especially when devices from different manufacturers are involved in the process.
Purpose of implementation
The controlled method of cutting helps maintain the stable shape of the finished package.
Automation reduces manual assembly and allows for better synchronization of package preparation and packaging.
Established parameters make it easier to monitor work, identify deviations and plan quality.
A properly selected configuration can support a fixed range of designs and subsequent product variants.
Analysis, tests and commissioning
First, we collect information about packaging, material, expected performance and current process flow. On this basis, we determine the possible configuration of the machine and the elements requiring testing. Verification on real patterns is especially important when the structure has unusual geometry or the material behaves differently after printing and processing.
The next stage includes agreeing on the equipment, method of applying glue, security, format support and interfaces with other devices. After delivery, installation, configuration, production tests and preparation of operators to work within the scope determined for a given implementation take place.
After startup, it is worth monitoring the forming quality, glue consumption, number of stops and changeover time. Data from real production shows where you can further stabilize the process or improve the organization of the station.
Gluing as part of the setup
Hot melt adhesives are often used in automatic packaging formation. The choice of a specific product is determined by, among others, the type of cardboard and its surface, line speed, open time, required adhesion and temperatures occurring during production, storage and use of the packaging.
The application temperature and other settings must result from the glue documentation and recommendations for the application system. The tests allow you to assess the quality of the weld, the repeatability of the application and the behavior of the joint under expected conditions. If the packaging is used in the food industry, compliance of the adhesive and the entire structure with the requirements should be confirmed based on appropriate documentation for the specific application.
Send packaging patterns or drawings, a range of formats, information about the material and expected performance. Based on this, we will start analyzing the appropriate configuration.
